Children of nature

Not everyone knows that we are children of nature. However, the true nature is that we are of nature. This is because of the simple fact that we are beings of earth and sea. This goes back several hundred years, even thousands of years to the beginning of the creation of man after the crash of the cosmos of Niflheim and Muspelheim to create the realms in the vast void known as Ginnungagap.

We see our ancestors, Disir, Vaettir and gods in everything we come across. When we see corn fields full and green, we can see our gods and Vaettir at work. That's not all though!! Because we have to work to receive the fruits of our labor. We work with the land, and we work with the water in order to produce the things we need to survive the seasons. So, all the spirits we work with also work with us, but we must remember them through hard work, sweat and tears. The gods give us what we need to survive on to power through and less of what we want. The reasoning behind this is because we are given what we need to achieve what we want.

The land provides nourishment as does the water that surrounds us. Always remember that even though we are given what we need, it is our job to use those things to get what we want through hard work and dedication. Land, air, fire and sea are the main elements we hold dear. Its these elements that give us life and to grow with our spirits and let them guide us to our destiny.
